Information on Navajo Lake jet ski rentals and speed boat rental at this small lake in northwestern Kane County in southern Utah near Cedar City. Navajo Lake is shallow, reaching depths of only 25 feet. Recreation includes fishing, skiing, wakesurfing, wakeskateing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, boating, swimming, and lodging facilities. Fishing is popular at this lake which include species of trout. Trout survival for winter is very poor with only the splake and brook trout overwintering. Navajo Lake was formed by a lava floe across the eastern end of the valley. The lake drains into both the Great Basin and the Colorado River drainage systems through sinkholes in the lake floor. Water sport may include waverunners, sea doo rentals, PWC personal watercraft rental, and calm lake tours and water sport instruction.
